Making a green smoothie bowl for breakfast is my favorite way to reign in crazy food choices. You can adapt this recipe in so many ways depending on what you have in your veggie bin. Don't worry about it getting it "right" -- just notice what makes your food feel best!
1 cup greens (I like collards, kale or romaine)
1/4 cup parsley
1 cup cut up fruit (berries and stone fruits like peaches are best)
1/2 inch peeled ginger
½ tablespoon raw honey
1 cup cold water
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp hemphearts
1 tbsp coconut butter
Blend together on high and pour into a bowl. Stir in chia seeds and coconut butter and let it sit in the fridge for 15 minutes (if you have time). Sprinkle with hemphearts and enjoy!
