Hydrating Summer Cantaloupe Juice

During the hot hot summer months, I love starting my day off with hydrating cataloupe juice!  According to Ayurveda and my experience, it's best to eat melon separately because it doesn't combine well with other foods.  The good news is that you can digest it within 30 minutes so it's a great snack to have while you're cooking dinner or for a light breakfast. 

Hydrating Cantaloupe Juice

Two cups of cold cubed cantaloupe (or any melon works nicely)
One cup of cold water
The juice of one lime

A dash of cardamon

Put all three ingredients in your blender and turn it on high.  Drink through a reusable straw and cool thyself!
